neither/both, but since everyone in the fucking world wants me to dom, right now i’m more excited by people who want me to sub.

I think most of the “no cookie for you” people are expecting cookies for saying it.

Some people out there have said it at some truly relevant moments.  But most are just drinking up the hatorade and using it as an excuse to bypass any genuine analysis of a given statement, and its getting on my nerves.

My whole life for the last few days has been selling toys on ebay, painting David Tennant’s face, and watching “Roseanne”. I’m a catch.

Work in progress.  Guess who.  

I need an easel badly.  My back is killing me from sitting on the floor doing this.

BREAKING NEWS:In a twitter conversation Steven Moffat confirmed that both River Song as well as Captain Jack Harkness are Bisexual.

a) Captain Jack is omnisexual

b) we have literally known this for years as it was Word of God from RTD

c) Moffat gets no fucking cookies whatsoever for this

Hmmm, lots of people missing the point of this.

a) Jack has never self identified as omnisexual, bisexual, or whateversexual.  But the relevance of his sexual orientation is that he doesn’t discriminate based on gender (let alone species)

b) Moffat wasn’t making some huge revelation here about Jack Harkness.  He was pointing out something that we already knew.  Neither did Moffat think this was a revelation, nor did myself or anyone else vlogging or blogging that tweet think it was news. 

c) He wasn’t searching for “cookies” here.  River Song was clearly bisexual/pansexual/omnisexual all the way back in “Silence in the Library”.  What’s important here is that River’s sexual orientation hasn’t been used to objectify her, nor define her character.  He’s been writing her this way from day one.  It is in incidental element of her character.

“Silence in the Library”/”Forest of the Dead” were set in the 51st Century, where everyone is more sexually fluid.  Even before later decisions were made about River, she was always going to be sexually fluid.  This wasn’t a grand revelation nor a cry for LGBTQ acceptance.  It was Moffat tweeting back and forth with fans about his work.

Just Old People

My Video Blog Scares Me

I don’t know why, but over the last month I’ve become overwhelmed with insecurity about RitchandFamous.  My Doctor Who themed vlog on the other hand, RitchandSpace, has been just fine, and honestly really rather successful.

Maybe that’s why.  RitchandSpace videos are far more controlled and scripted and edited.  Whereas RitchandFamous is more opinion oriented.  On RitchandSpace, I know I’ve made a good vlog when I’ve done a well thought out review of a Doctor Who episode or character.  But RitchandFamous isn’t as focused as that.  My videos vary from a “make-up tutorial” to political satire to me just ranting about my own sexual identity.  I don’t know what makes a good RitchandFamous video.

Anyway, I’ve posted three RitchandFamous videos in the past month, and after every one felt so insecure that I deleted them!  I’m going to post one today, just to get past this looming “1 whole month” gap.  I don’t like that.

So tell me, what do you think about RitchandFamous?  What kind of videos are your favourites?  Do you like the diversity of video types?
