"Amy Pond and Steven Moffat’s Babies" by RitchandFamous →
There’s been some criticism of Steven Moffat’s choices with Amy Pond – i.e. to make most of her story so far about getting married an having a baby. Lindsay Miller over at Tiger BeatDown, in an article entitled “Why I Hate Amy Pond”, suggests that Moffat’s decisions about Amy’s marriage and pregnancy story lines are gender stereotypes. “Girls like weddings!”, “Girls like having babies!”, she proclaims as Moffat’s possible inspiration for Amelia. I respectfully disagree.
